当ブログ初登場の平田です。

さて、今回は私のおすすめパワースポットをご紹介します。

場所は府中市の大國魂神社（おおくにたまじんじゃ）。

1900年の歴史を持ち、かの大国主命（おおくにぬしのみこと）と

同神とされる大國魂大神（おおくにたまのおおかみ）が

祀られている、由緒ある神社です。

5月に開催される「くらやみ祭」も有名ですね。

写真はコロナ禍以前のもので、この頃はなかなかの賑わいでした。

さて、こちらの大國魂神社で面白いのが「人形流し」と呼ばれる儀式です。

紙でできた人形に、自分の厄・穢れを移して川に流すことで身を清める儀式で、

境内のやや奥まった休憩所の一角にありますので、探してみてください。

人形に名前を書いて・・・

説明書通りの順番に体の前で動かして・・・

写真の奥の方にある小川に流すと、

びっくりするぐらいスーッと溶けて流れていっちゃいます！
